Spraying of Fracking Wastewater On Roadways
The Buckeye Forest Council has information and a list of all Ohio political subdivisions (counties, cities, towns, and townships) that spray fracking brine on their roadways.

The new Alternative Stormwater Infrastructure Loan Program is a partnership between the Ohio Water Development Authority and the Ohio Department of Development. It offers low-interest loans up to $5 million for the construction of alternative stormwater infrastructure projects. The loan is available to local forms of government for demolition, construction of infrastructure, and consultant costs.

Solving these problems can be difficult since stormwater runoff from one community drains into another; crossing political boundaries. In this program we learned how a comprehensive “watershed approach” to stormwater is the best answer to these challenges, and what is being done in Northeast Ohio.
